| Mark Your Calendars for May 19th, because THE BBQ COOKOFF IS BACK. Our 11th Annual Bar-B-Q Cookoff is coming on May 19th from 5p-7p. This student ministry fundraiser helps get students to camp/missions/and retreats throughout the year. There are 3 ways that you can be a part of this amazing event. 1.) Enter the cooking competition. We are looking for cooks that would like to compete for the $150 Grand Prize. There is no entry fee, only that you provide enough BBQ for about 80-100 guests (2 oz portions). You can choose the dish whether it’s Pork, Chicken, Beef or even Tofu; just bring your BEST! Past cooks say that it is about 15 lbs of uncooked meat total. 2.) Come judge the Cook-off and bid on auction items. Tickets will be available soon for $14 each or 2/$25 and allow you to come and have a huge lunch tasting up to 12 different BBQ’s and judge which is best. Once in, you can bid on the many items we have up for auction. Tickets Are On Sale Soon. 3.) Donate a new item or service to the Silent Auction. If you own a business and want to get the word out about your services, or you just want to find other ways to support our students, this is a great way for people to see your support for the students of our community by your donation. |
