Mentoring

If anyone is still interested in being a mentor at Sugarmill  Elementary, there will be another training in December. Being a mentor is simply committing to
having lunch with a student once a week and to be a consistently positive
influence in their life. Got 30 minutes a week? Contact the church  office, Gerry Weeks, or Ashley Novak.

Box Tops 4 Education

There will be a box in the lobby to deposit any Box Tops 4 Education. The
website: http://www.boxtops4education.com/ lists the qualifying tops. This  doesn’t cost
you a dime, just the effort. The school gets 10 cents for each one!

Forms you may need:

  • PLEDGE CARDS for 2012

    Communication Form – This is the form you need to put articles into the weekly bulletin or monthly newsletter, add something to the calendar, schedule a room. Please complete and send to the church office.

  • Altar Flowers Request – This form is used to request Altar Flowers for Sunday Services in memory or in honor on someone.
  • UM Human Resource Policy – This is a PDF document that has the latest version of the Staff Handbook for Family & Staff Servant Leaders
  • Permission Grant & Emergency Release Form 2012 – for a child/youth to participate in a special trip/event, parents must submit a notarized consent form.
  • International Mission Scholarship Program – Individuals who are interested in participating in an international or local mission trip may apply for scholarship assistance from the church.

    DEADLINES:

    Articles for the Bulletin should be emailed to Pamela Paramour by Wednesday of each week.

    Slides for the Sunday morning announcement reel should be emailed to Jeremy Hearn by Thursday of each week.

    Articles for the Incoming Tide should be emailed to Jane Donlin by the 20th of each month.
